Play with 152 tiles — dots, bams, craks, winds, dragons, flowers, and jokers. Each year the National Mah Jongg League card lists the hands you can build toward.
Before play begins, everyone passes tiles around in a lively exchange called the Charleston — your chance to shape a promising hand from the chaos.
Draw and discard, pick up tiles others toss, and race to complete a hand on the card. Finish first, shout "Mahjong!" and take the win.
Drop in for a single night or make it your weekly ritual. All tables welcome newcomers.
